Katrina Laverne Taylor (born December 3, 1978 in Miami, Florida), better known by her stage name Trina, is an African-American female rap artist.
Career
Trina's (who is a former stripper) career started when she made her first appearance on Trick Daddy's www.thug.com album, with the song Nann Nigga. She came out with her first album Da Baddest Bitch in 2000 with the hit single Pull Over.
With her second album, Diamond Princess she worked with Missy Elliot. The album's hit list included Told Y'all, No Panties and B R Right featuring Ludacris.
Trina's third album was Glamorest Life, with the two hit singles Don't Trip with Lil' Wayne, which got alot of press because the (at the time) rumor that Lil' Wayne and Trina where dating. And her second hit song Here We Go featuring Kelly Rowland which made it high on the charts, being her first top 40 hit. Even with holding Trina'a biggest hit of her career the album was her worst selling, selling 389,000.
