Career
He starred in more than 30 Filipino TV series and Movies, including Tanging Yaman (2000), Labs ko si Babes (2000), Esperanza: The Movie (1999), Esperanza (1997), Gimik (1996), Hey Babe (1999), Whattamen (2001), Labs kita... Okey ka lang (1998), and Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako (1998).
He won the First Golden Screen Entertainment TV Awards for his performance as Rolando Navarette in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" Boxing Gloves episode and the 2005 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor Award for his performance in the movie Kutob.
Aside from actress Jolina Magdangal, whom he co-star in numerous TV sitcoms, TV dramas and romantic-comedy movies, he also co-star in romantic dramas with Filipina actress Kristine Hermosa in the romantic TV series Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako in 1998 and with Filipina-Australian star Janette McBride in the ABS-CBN's Star Drama Theater Presents - Rave in 2001.
Marvin is currently dating actress / tv personality, Pauleen Luna. He will later co star opposite Angel Locsin with Robin Padilla in the upcoming GMA Networks' soap Asian Treasures that will be shot in multiple countries in Asia such as Cambodia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, China, and Mongolia.
