Madge Kennedy (b. April 19 , 1891 Chicago , Illinois - d. June 9 , 1987 Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California ) was a movie and stage actress of the silent film era. Kennedy first started out on Broadway with the show, Little Miss Brown , which helped her career for the next five years. After Broadway, Sam Goldwyn of Goldwyn Pictures signed Kennedy to a big movie contract. Kennedy starred in movies such as Baby Mine , Our Little Wife and Dollar and Sense .
Kennedy later retired after her second marriage, then came back into acting and starred in several parts in movies and television .
Madge Kennedy has a "Star" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .
