Kristin Cavallari (born January 14, 1987 in Denver, Colorado) is an American actress, known mainly for her leading role on the MTV reality TV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
Biography
Before moving to California, Cavallari lived in Connecticut, St. Louis, Missouri, Colorado and Barrington, Illinois. Once her parents separated, her father moved to Laguna Beach, California with her older brother Michael, while Kristin moved with her mother to Illinois. Kristin first went to private high school in a town near Laguna Beach, and after meeting Alex Hooser, she became friends with the kids we soon saw her on the television show with. Then she went to Laguna Beach High since sophomore year to the end of her senior year. She was romantically linked with Stephen Colletti from Laguna Beach and Talan as well. Kristin began dating Brody Jenner in September 2005, but they broke up in August 2006. She is currently dating actor Nick Zano.
Career
Cavallari was one of several teenagers who had their lives captured on the MTV reality show ref="Laguna_Beach:_The_Real_Orange_County" title="Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County">Laguna Beach. Interest in her was sparked among viewers as they watched Cavallari progress from being a self-doubting high school junior in the first season to a popular, confident, school-ruling senior in the second season.
Cavallari's role on Laguna Beach led her to land a gig co-hosting a UPN show in early 2006. "Get This Party Started" was cancelled after just two airings. She also began modeling, and has appeared on the cover of several magazines, including Maxim, who awarded her #23 on its annual Hot 100 list. She is also featured in Maxim's Hottest Women of Reality TV[http://www.maximonline.com/slideshows/index.aspx?slideId=2417&imgCollectId=114]. She is currently working as the spokeswoman for the Bongo clothing line.
