Chaudhary Bhupinder Singh Hooda (born September 15, 1947) is an Indian politician and the current Chief Minister of Haryana. His father ch.Ranbir Singh, was a member of the committee appointed to draft the Constitution of India. Hooda is well known for leading various farmer movements in Haryana. He is a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.

Hooda is a member of the Indian National Congress and has served as the president of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee from 1996 to 2001.

He has been a member of Indian Parliament (Lok Sabha) for four terms - 1991, 1996, 1998, 2004 - as well as the leader of opposition in Haryana's Legislative Assembly from 2001 to 2004.
