Biography:
Born as a Nair girl in Trichur,Renuka had a passion and thirst for acting from her age of five. It looks like she has the talent of acting in her blood as she did not have any of her family members in the film industry. Being born to an advocate and a housewife, this fair Malayalam girl loved acting and had a craze for trying out different costumes.
One of her amazing character is that she never feels uncomfortable with language. Renuka Menon is a very lucky girl and she has very quickly set her foot in all the four South Indian Film Industries – Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.She learns them very easily and adapts flexibly.The story of how she took up acting as her career is very interesting. Due to her interest in acting, her mother used to send so many photos of hers to the magazines. It was when one such photo came in the cover of a magazine “Mahilarathnam” which very much impressed a film producer who came all way and met her father asking if his daughter would be interested in acting. Though Renuka's debut “Mayamohitachandran” with Kunchako Boban did not make up to be released, it was Kamal's “Nammal” that help her up to the sky.Then She was introduced to the film industry In Dass film with Jayam Ravi. She then went to Telugu and Kannada. She paired up with Upendra in a Kannada film News. She has performed in several movies in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
